What does a registered licensed plant nursery mean?
Our top priority is to ensure that the plants you receive from us are free of pests and diseases that could potentially harm your gardens. This means that all of the plants we sell are properly labeled and graded to ensure their quality. As a registered nursery, we are routinely inspected by the Washington Department of Agriculture to ensure that we meet state and federal regulations.
It's important to note that all plant nurseries and nursery stock dealers are required to register annually with the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA). If you're producing and growing plant material for sale or distribution, it's mandatory to register as a nursery.
Unfortunately, not all sellers are licensed, which is why it's crucial to buy from a registered nursery. When you purchase plants from us, you can have peace of mind knowing that they have passed all necessary inspections to keep your plants safe from pests and diseases.
